THOMAS HERMAN

Thomas was born and raised in Indiana. He grew up like the average kid; playing sports like baseball, soccer, and wrestling. At the early age of 5, his dad bought him his very first wakeboard and he got hooked instantly. Coming from the Midwest, it was hard for him to get the time on the water he needed to keep up with his competition. He quickly got used to traveling the country to compete and train with the new friends he made through wakeboarding. The older he got, the more and more his passion for the sport grew. His bags were packed and ready to go on his 18th birthday. Making the full-time move to Orlando Florida, Thomas was able to train year-round, with the best of the best within the industry. Now living on Lake Jesssamine, he is working harder than ever to progress and push his skills on the water.
Stepping up to Pro division was a dream come true for Thomas. Competing against guys that he once looked up to was surreal for him. In Thomas' first year on the Pro Wakeboard Tour, he made moves by earning the prestigious "Rookie of the Year" award. Now, at only 19 years old, Thomas is living out his dreams of being a professional wakeboard athlete. There is no Plan B for Thomas, this is all he knows! We are looking forward to watching his progression grow even more over the next few years.
