Big waves start with big ideas—and it all began with
Wayne Remnant, the inventor of the first ballast bag.
His groundbreaking design revolutionized wakes,
letting boaters fill removable bags with water to
create deeper rides and bigger waves. But we saw
room for& improvement. Filling 800 pounds of water
through a small hose takes time, so we engineered a
pump that’s three times faster at both filling and
draining. After sharing our vision with Wayne, he
not only supported our idea but sold us his patent.
