When we aren't at Ronix - there is a good chance we are on the water ourselves. And when we are testing new products we have a lot of agree to disagree moments on the ol' rear pad placement. One of our engineers will ride tail heavy and want the kicktail 3" from the end of the board. Some of our product managers will be more front foot heavy and want the kicktail 5" from the end. So with a heavy sigh we will settle on having a kicktail that is 4" from the end and so begins the buzzkill of this amazing new product that is in the works. We changed all of that - now we have a kicktail with 4" of up and down travel - and 30° of side to side angle adjustment. We now offer a non discriminatory kicktail - alpine stance, duck foot stance - back foot, front foot heavy - there is an offering for you. Available on our new 727 foil board, and M50 wakesurfer - but for $70 this patent pending innovation could be on any board you desire. Now added leverage and support is an adjustment away from your ideal location - enjoy.
Instructions:
Included with this rear pad are 2 built in tracks with thumb bolts on either side of the kicktail. Once the cover for the adhesive is removed and the rear pad is applied to the board. A rider can easily loosen or tighten the thumb bolts and move the kicktail to the ideal location. It is also easy to fine-tune your set up while on the water. Trust us - you will never want to ride again without having that ideal spot for added leverage and support.
