CLOSED TOE BOARD CONTROL, OPEN TOE ADJUSTABILITY - THAT'S THE PARKS BOOT

Created by our sports icon – Parks Bonifay who has been wakeboarding for over 3 decades. The Parks boot has features that make it easy to adjust for varying feet sizes – yet still has similar locked in heel-toe response of our advanced closed toe models. A remarkably comfortable hybrid boot designed for the needs of the next generation.

KID’S FIT

Before we tell you some of our unique design specifics on our kid’s boots let’s talk about what is available on every Ronix boot – adaptability. For years footwear was based on having a stiff plate and a stiff sidewall. Drawback to that is 2 things. Nobody wants the side of their foot to be up against something rigid, and there is a loss of adaptability when that sidewall won’t alter around the top of your foot. So, we changed that developing and patenting the first 2-piece mainframe system. Now you can complement that same rigid base plate optimizing heel/toe reaction time with the softest, plush, flexible skeleton that wraps around the rider’s foot. As a rider cinches their Autolock lace, or dials in their BOA® the chassis now softly conforms over the top. Everybody wins. Back to kids. When we started Ronix and we started looking at kids feet we were blown away by the scaling proportions – as kid’s feet are obviously shorter – they are nowhere near as narrow as you would think they would be. We did some research and discovered something that makes a lot of sense but was never addressed in wakeboarding. Kids have flexible bones, plumper fat pads that make a rounded broader shape – this combination contributes to a wider less angular foot structure. We accounted for that by providing more support around the foot with our adaptive chassis – but also made a wider kid’s outline as a percentage of scaling to account for their less angular foot structure. The result is happier feet. Just have them try on any of our kids boots and feel the difference.

FLEX | SOFT VS. FIRM

Some riders prefer a softer boot with more lateral, side-to-side freedom for a properly executed poke. Others favor the security of a firmer, more controlled fit. Flex doesn’t determine ability level. It’s simply a personal preference based on riding style. Whichever direction you choose, every Ronix boot is designed around exceptional heel hold.

RESPONSIVENESS | FLUID VS. INSTANT

Flex determines how freely a boot moves side to side. Responsiveness determines how quickly it reacts toe to heel. Some riders want that gas-pedal response, creating quicker edge transfers and a more powerful connection to the board. Others prefer a smoother, more progressive feel as they initiate a turn or build into the wake. Neither is right or wrong. It’s about how quickly you want your boot to answer.

PERFORMANCE | ENTRY VS. ADVANCED

We don’t compromise when it comes to footwear. Even our most accessible boots are built with the comfort, support, and performance needed for an incredible summer on the water. Do you prefer the essentials or the elevated innovations. As you move through the line, you’ll find features such as heat-moldable custom orthotic liners, higher-cut Mainframe chassis, and 3D molded tongues designed to increase support, precision, and response. Choose how much technology you want underneath your feet.

THE RONIX DIFFERENCE

What put Ronix on the map?

Was it a handful of people with a watersports legacy, joined by Hall of Fame athletes? Was it because we sold our past, went back to Square One, and starting a new high-end brand? That’s part of the answer. But what really put us on the map was, and still is, our footwear.

Ronix became the first and only watersports company to partner exclusively with what we believe is the world’s premier action-sports footwear developer to build every pair of our boots. For nearly half a century this family-owned and operated factory has been renowned for creating some of the finest footwear in action sports. Fortunately for us, Ronix became part of that family.

Now for over two decades, we have worked together to reshape the landscape of what wakeboard footwear can be.

The first baseless boot, creating a more direct connection to the board and greater heel-to-toe response.

The first double-lasted boot, creating precise symmetry between the liner and shell to eliminate unwanted hot spots and dead space.

The first custom-orthotic line of wakeboard footwear, featuring our exclusive, award-winning Intuition liners that heat mold around the unique shape of a rider’s foot.

The first adaptable chassis, built around a two-piece system used throughout the Ronix boot line. A rigid, responsive baseplate is connected to a softer, more compliant MainFrame that conforms around the rider’s forefoot as the boot is cinched down. The result is rigidity where you want it, conformity where you need it, and a more direct connection everywhere in between.

We make a lot of products, and we’re proud of the thoughtfulness, testing, and detail that goes into every one of them.

But there is a reason our boot collection continues to be one of the most dominant parts of the Ronix line year after year.

After all the patents, materials, constructions, liners, lasts, chassis systems, and decades of development, it really comes down to something much simpler:

Boots that fit without compromise.
Boots that respond quicker.
Boots that just perform better.

The difference starts with your feet.
