One Legacy Core
The latest legacy of 3-Stage shapes with a new construction appropriately called the Legacy Core.
This new exclusive Legacy Core CNC machined foam has improved dampening qualities to bridge that gap between powerful drive, soft landings, and extra comfort in rough water conditions. Recently we widened this popular shape creating a bigger sweet spot that can be ridden easier at slower speeds. Nearly 2 decades ago we sat in a barn working with wakeboarding’s royalty – Danny Harf - and reimagined how to create a new style of ride that would define a mellower transitioned freeride turn, with more forgiving traits than other high-end boards. Over the years we continue to add more glide speed, creating less resistance and strain on your body, for a smoother take off than its Timebomb construction counterpart. This latest generation is designed for riders that want that extra hangtime that comes with this iconic rockerline in a more comfortable explosion.
A quiet board even on those loud days with less-than-ideal water conditions.
An exaggerated rocker line with a later arc and a higher degree provides a more straight up explosive pop. This style of rocker creates more of an instant buck off the wake (combine that with our Blackout Technology to experience everything a wake has to offer), for riders that are behind a big boat wake. Wakeboarders riding behind smaller wakes will still feel like they are getting a solid kick as well.
A combination of the traits of 3-Stage and Continuous rocker lines. Designed for a high-end rider that, depending on how they edge into the wake, the rocker will dictate what style of snap they will have. Also, for a mid-level rider that isn’t sure what style of hangtime they are looking for.
An earlier arc with a mellower degree will have a smoother, more consistent glide up the wake. A rider will be able to carry more speed up the transition and land tricks farther out into the flats. Not quite the straight up snap of its counterpart, but they’ll have a faster, more predictable, effortless takeoff.
Instant energy takes place the second the tip of the board hits the wake. This allows a quicker way to generate lift off the transition as energy takes place sooner with a super firm snap off the wake. For riders that can handle the added kick. We rate all our boards from 1 to 10.
Doesn’t have the radioactive amplitude of instant energy, or the postponed kick of its stored counterpart. Neutral energy prefers to sit quietly in the middle of takeoff purgatory – not too quick, not too late. Nothing wrong with riding sans stigma.
Created for a rider who approaches and leaves the wake the way a snowboarder would a kicker or a skater would an ollie. The delay in the energy means the rider is given more time to generate the full lift from the power building from the tip all the way to the tail of the board. If riders don’t have that snow / skate timing off the wake – no problem – they will just have a mellower lift. A construction that’s easier on your body.
